With more than 15 years of professional service, Ricardo's past experience is well rounded and of a high pedigree. His introduction to the world of food and beverage hospitality begins with a successful three-year tenure working intimately at the venerable Relais & Chateaux four-diamond Wedgewood Hotel and Spa. Ricardo held positions in all departments of the food and beverage program from the hotel banquets and room service departments to the award-winning Bacchus Restaurant and Lounge.

A working stint abroad with the highly acclaimed and professional staff at Anthony's Restaurant in Leeds, England afforded him the opportunity to take an active part in one of the most innovative and intimate dining rooms in the UK.

Most recently, he has spent the past seven years holding Senior Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Director roles within the multiple awards-winning Toptable group of restaurants at both Blue Water Café and Bar and CinCin Ristorante and Bar respectively.

His understanding of the fine details of service and hospitality are well-groomed and varied. With a Joint Major in Anthropology and Sociology from Simon Fraser University, WSET accreditation and years of both restaurant and hotel service, Ricardo brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the IHMC team.
